USS Torsk SS-423 Guestbook

I am inquiring about a crewman from 67- feb68.
ETR1 James "Jim" Ellis he was killed on liberty during a motorcycle accident. He does not appear on the ships crew roster. He served on the Seapoacher 65-67, I was wondering if anyone that knew him was still around. I have his service record that records the Torsk as his duty station at his time of death. He was one of the reasons I chose to join the Navy. If anyone can tell me anything about him I would appreciate it. Have a great day shipmates.

My father, Robert Morris May served on the Torsk in 1950-1952. He is listed in the crew at the correct time, however, he is not listed as deceased.
Unfortunately, he passed away at age 46, in his hometown of Asheville, NC on 9 January1972. I hope someone can add this to the crew list.

Hello, my father Wayne l. Benton (aka Sonnie) served on the Torsk from 1963 to 1966. He is intrested in making connections with former buddies from the Torsk and or fond info on them also helping give any information that can be added from his time in the service.
