Museum Ship's Event 2008
We had five guest operators (2 Saturday and 3 Sunday), all from the Reading, PA,
Amateur Radio Club. The leader was Ed Morgan who has been down with Ron Polytika
to operate from the Chesapeake and Taney in past events.
We didn't make many contacts due to poor atmospherics (no sunspots) but did talk
to Requin, a bulk carrier the Willis Boyer in Toledo, the Victory ship American
Victory in Tampa, and the Yorktown. Made about 50 phone and CW contacts
altogether. The visitors had a great time.
