This view is looking down the starboard passageway into the Control Room, just outside of the Radio Room. The large copper pipes are part of the low pressure blow system, used to empty the main ballast tanks of water once on the surface. The high pressure blow manifold is located just forward in the passageway. The left side contains racks for electronic equipment, such as a gyro control cabinet and radar support units.
