This is a view looking forward down the passage in Officers Country, located above the forward battery well. The dark hatch in the middle of the passage is for access to the batteries. The hatch at the end of the passage leads into the Forward Torpedo Room. Cabins for the officers and chiefs line both sides of the passage. The Wardroom, where the officers would eat and socialize, is at the forward end on the port (left) side.
