Torsk Work Weekend 10

May 2-3-4, 2003

Saturday

A view looking aft from the bow Saturday morning. A local shipyard, General Ship, is replacing rusted steel supports in this area. The volunteers will do the deck wood replacement once the steel work is done.

One of the major goals for the weekend was to get the superstructure cleaned in this area. Frank Morgan looks on as other volunteers down in the superstructure chip paint, wire brush, sweep, and pressure wash the hull and gear located here.

Dave Thames and Tracey Hamilton (Good Tracey) discuss their progress with Gunz.

Gunz is painting the outer door of the escape trunk. He surprised all of us by doing more work in one weekend than we've seen out of him over the past four years!!

Tracey Johnstone (Evil Tracey) cleans up the hull near the escape trunk.
